Do you remember the song, “Pass It On”? The words of that song, - “It only takes a spark to get a fire going; and soon all those around will warm up in its glowing” – epitomize the spirit that The PeaceFire Relief Effort {PRE} was founded upon. When the natural disaster Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of the United States, the ladies of Peace Fire Galleries, LLC, located in Durham, North Carolina, sparked into action to provide comfort and direct relief to Americans who were affected by the hurricane's wrath. Peace Fire Galleries is owned and operated by Inga “Nandi” Willis and Sima Flower. The Gallery sells original art, vintage/funky/natural clothes, oils, incense, candles, and accessories. In direct response to the aftermath of the storm, Peace Fire Galleries transformed into A Place to Receive and Relieve, A Shelter from the Storm, and A Place to Connect . The response of the community and nation to Partner with and Support the PeaceFire Relief Effort has been inspirational and phenomenal! A fire must be given urgent and immediate attention, and if it is not extinguished, irreparable damage is the result. Help is On the Way from PRE! We urge you to Get Involved with the PeaceFire Relief Effort today!
